Grandpa Card Coach — Terms of Use
Effective date: the day the app launches.
1. Agreeing to these terms
Grandpa Card Coach is run by Grandpa Creatives LLC, a North Carolina company ("we" or "us"). By ticking "I agree", or by using the app or website at grandpacardcoach.com, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Grandpa Card Coach.
2. Adults only (18+)
You must be 18 or older to use Grandpa Card Coach. Poker is a gambling game, so the app is not for children.
3. What Grandpa Card Coach is
- Grandpa Card Coach is for learning and fun. It teaches the rules, words, history and skills of poker.
- No real money. There is no real-money betting in the app. Chips in the app have no cash value and cannot be bought, sold, traded or cashed in. There are no prizes.
- No promise of winnings. Poker involves luck. Learning with Grandpa does not mean you will win money at any game.
- Grandpa's comments are made by artificial intelligence (AI). They can sometimes be wrong. Use your own judgment.
- Nothing in the app is gambling, financial or legal advice. The other players at the app's table are made-up students, not real people.
4. Real card tables and casinos
- Do not use the app during a real-money game where outside help or electronic devices are not allowed. Most casinos, card rooms and online poker sites forbid this, and in some places it is against the law.
- You are responsible for following the laws where you live and the rules of any game or place you play.
- We are not responsible for any money you win or lose anywhere.
5. The Cheating lessons
The Cheating lessons show how cheating has been done through history so you can spot it and protect yourself. You agree never to use them to cheat anyone. Cheating at cards can be a crime.
6. Play responsibly
If you choose to play poker for money elsewhere, only play with money you can afford to lose. If gambling ever stops being fun, help is free and private: call or text 1-800-426-2537 (1-800-GAMBLER), the National Problem Gambling Helpline, 24 hours a day.
7. Subscriptions and payments
- The price and any free trial are shown at sign-up. If you do not cancel before a free trial ends, your subscription starts and you are charged.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Payments are not refunded, except where the law requires it or we decide to case by case.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your full card number.
8. Your code and fair use
- Your personal code is for you only. Do not share, sell or post it.
- You agree not to copy or resell the app, its lessons, videos or voice; use bots or tricks to get around limits or payments; hack or overload the app; or use it to break any law.
- We may pause or end access for anyone who breaks these rules, without a refund.
9. Our content and yours
- The app, website, lessons, videos, Grandpa's voice and character, logos, and the names Grandpa Card Coach™ and We don't deal cards, we deal wisdom™ belong to Grandpa Creatives LLC.
- When you send questions or problem reports, you let us use them to run, fix and improve the app. We do not sell them.
10. No promises ("as is")
Grandpa Card Coach is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that the app will always work, be free of errors, or that Grandpa's advice will always be correct.
11. Limits on our responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- Grandpa Creatives LLC, its owners, workers and helpers are not responsible for any money won or lost at any game, or for any indirect or follow-on losses.
- Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
- If you break these terms or misuse the app and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs, including lawyers' fees.
Some states do not allow some of these limits, so some may not apply to you.
12. Settling disagreements
- Talk to us first at support@grandpacardcoach.com. We will try to fix the problem within 60 days.
- If we cannot settle it, the dispute will be decided by binding individual arbitration, except that either side may use small claims court. No class actions.
- These terms follow North Carolina law. Any court case allowed under these terms will be in Wake County, North Carolina.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will tell you in the app or by email before an important change takes effect. We may end or pause access if these terms are broken.

Grandpa Creatives LLC runs Grandpa Card Coach. This policy explains what information we collect and how we protect it. Effective date: the day the app launches.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for outside advertising. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we delete it.
2. Companies that help us
We share information only as needed to run the app, with trusted companies that must protect it: Anthropic (Claude AI, for Grandpa's coaching), ElevenLabs (Grandpa's voice), Netlify (hosting), Stripe (payments) and Google (business email). We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our players or the business.
3. Keeping it safe
We use secure connections, keep only what we need, and delete information when it is no longer needed. No system is perfectly safe, but we work hard to protect your information.
4. Your choices
- You may ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time.
- The app stores some settings on your device. You can clear them in your browser or device settings.
5. Changes and contact
If we change this policy in an important way, we will tell you in the app or by email.
